SI Legacy News & Events

Jeff has been in the comm/data industry for 22 years and with SI for the last 20. He covers the Cincinnati / Dayton market, as well as the state of Kentucky. His focus has been on assisting end users with developing a strategy for their network infrastructure, and incorporating A/V and security solutions into that overall strategy. Jeff also works hand in hand with SI’s partner integrators and distributors in the market to ensure all customers receive the highest level of service. He is also a rabid Bengals fan.

Dean graduated from West Virginia University in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree before joining the newly assembled Legacy Marketing. Upon his arrival, he has developed many key relationships with countless successful accounts, resulting in his position of President. His hard work ethic and positive reputation have catapulted Legacy Marketing into a nationally recognized firm. With a territory consisting of Northern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, Dean is able to devote countless hours to his business relationships while providing exceptional service, representing quality audio, video, security, and surveillance products..

Kelly has 30 years experience in the AV and security industry. She is passionate about connecting with customers and providing inside sales and support to meet each individual need. She enjoys working with her team to create a positive pre and post sales experience. 

Kelly has lived in Southern Indiana for over 35 years. She is a mother to three incredible children and one wonderful daughter in law. Kelly loves spending time with her family and the outdoors. She considers herself a self made coffee connoisseur and you can usually find her with what she calls a ‘smile in a cup’.

Scott joined SI-Legacy in 2021 and has over 18 years of experience in the Data-Comm, Security, and A/V industries.  His primary role is to support Security centric applications throughout Indiana.  Scott is driven to learn so that he can provide new and creative solutions to his customers.  "I enjoy educating people on the many ways technology can be utilized as a tool to solve a problem or allow them to be more efficient." Scott and Jenny are the parents of Kenley and are very involved in all aspects of her busy life.  In his free time, he golfs and watches his favorite teams the Colts, Reds, and Pacers.

Paul graduated from the University of Kentucky, where he was a member of the U of K Hockey team before obtaining his degree in 2009.

He has been with SI-Legacy for 5 years. Paul has been involved in the Security Industry since 2010 in a variety of different roles. With experience as an End-User, Project Manager and VP of Sales while in System Integration, Paul's past work experience gives him immeasurable real world knowledge when it comes to Physical and Electronic Security Systems. "I pride myself in my ability to help my partners avoid pitfalls and setbacks in their deployments. The goal is simple, help our partners reach and exceed their goals, by providing second to none customer service."  

Paul lives in Frankfort KY and is married with two children (Stella & Zeke), who keep him and wife Jenny extremely busy. In his free time, Paul enjoys all things Kentucky - The Track, Kentucky Basketball, and Bourbon. 

Tim comes to Legacy Marketing Reps as a Security Territory Manager covering Western PA and West Virginia. He has spent the last 17 years working as an Integrator holding various positions to include Local and National Account Sales as well as Sales and Operations Management. He has strong experience in Business Development, System Design and Product Knowledge. Prior to that, Tim spent close to 10 years as an end user of security systems which led to his interest in Electronic Security as a career. He has an excellent work ethic and prides himself on the relationships he has built with his customers, distributors and manufacturers.

Tim resides in the Pittsburgh area with his wife, Leigh Ann, and two children.

Don spent many years in the project management and customer service fields in the retail printing industry, before his career in security and technology. He grew up in Eastern Ohio along the Ohio River, then attended the University of North Texas. After graduating, he returned to his Ohio roots and resides in Dublin Ohio with his fiancee' Jackie, their dog Loga and cat Mason.

Don is a welcome addition as our newest representative, based in Columbus, he will be responsible for Central, Southern, and Western Ohio, Boone, Kenton, Campbell Counties in Northern Kentucky

John came to Legacy Marketing Reps, late in 2010, after working for Systems Integrators and Manufacturer Rep Firms, in both Security and Pro-AV, for many years. John grew up working for the family business, J.L. Torbeck Company, until the mid 90's where he learned the security business from the ground up as a technician, purchasing agent, systems designer, and system sales. After 9/11, John ran the Security Division for a local electronics firm, who had a change in ownership, and John returned to the Manufacturers Rep, where he remains today. John brings a vast knowledge of security system design. He is certified in many products and prides himself in providing the best solution for both the integrator and the end user.

Jim joins Legacy Marketing Reps with an experienced background as a principal owner of a manufacturer rep company covering the Midwest states as a successful and highly respected sales rep in the security industry. Jim’s goals are to provide the best support and knowledge to his end users, distributors, integrators/resellers, engineering consultants and his principals. He has a tremendous knowledge of the security industry, and is always ready to provide the best service possible. He prides himself in his work ethics and will give his time willingly to make “it” happen. Jim lives in Carmel, Indiana with his wife Jo. They have two grown sons, Gannon who lives in Fishers, IN, with his wife and 3 children, their youngest son, Matt lives in Paradise Valley AZ. Jim attended Purdue University and is a huge Boilermaker fan. He spends his free time playing with his two British sports cars and antique tractors.

Ken has been with SI-Legacy for 12 years and handles security in the State of Michigan. Ken has done a exceptional job building relationships and providing exceptional customer service, which has propelled him to be one of the top security and surveillance resources in the Midwest. Prior to SI-Legacy Ken spent many years in the telecommunications industry learning IP networks, security and infrastructure.

Ken played on the Division I Hockey team for 4 years at Ferris State University while earning a bachelors degree in 1999 . Ken and his wife Stephanie, enjoy travelling watching their 2 sons play hockey.

Jen joined SI-Legacy in 2020.  She was raised in the Cleveland area, graduated from Miami University, and resides in Willoughby, Ohio, with her husband and 3 children. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading, and relaxing in the sun – but nothing beats a weekend camping trip! She appreciates the organization, attention to detail, and calculations that her position entails.

Michele has been with SI for over a decade! She’s had exposure to inside sales, outside sales, managing the office and is currently holding down duties of inside sales and office manager. She is a true asset to SI who always steps up to the challenge and never rests until we have an answer for our customer or partner. She has picked up our business and managed relationships of it much quicker than most. Michele is a true team player and a wonderful resource for all of us at SI and our partners! Michele in her spare time Fosters and Volunteers for Badass Bulldog Rescue.

Tim has been with SI for 22 years and has spent over 28 years in the communications industry. He handles Data-Comm & A/V in the State of Michigan Tim is SI’s go-to for industrial applications. With his extensive background with metals, he is a resource to his customers and to the A/E community, particularly with cabinets, enclosures and pathways (tray). Graduating from U of M and a die hard fan himself, he has a great rivalry with his MI counterpart Patrick. Go Blue!

Patrick is beginning his third decade in the industry and has been with SI-Legacy for the majority of that time. His responsibilities include Operations Management and Inside Sales Support.  He has an extensive background in fiber optic cabling infrastructure, copper cabling and racking solutions.  Patrick looks forward to growing all three silos of SI-Legacy business-Data Communications, Physical Security and Audio Visual.  
His goal is simple: Be the reason people want to engage with your company.   Patrick is a graduate of and die hard Michigan State University fan.

James Mosley is Kentucky native. He has over a decade of experience including working for distribution, a contractor and a competing rep firm. This gives him better perspective than most. His hustle, great relationships, along with his commitment to stay current on new technology will translate to happy customers and partners. James is married with two grown children which leaves him and wife Miranda with plenty of time to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and Hand in Hand, or just catch a game with friends. Originally from DC he’s still loyal to all DC area teams. However, his son did graduate from one of the 2 big Kentucky schools, so he’s pulling for them as well!

Susan has been with SI since 2014 and has experience in the industry since 2001. She covers the Central Ohio territory including Columbus, Toledo and Lima and sets the bar for the SI-Legacy team with her enthusiasm! Her focus is on assisting her customers in growing their business and developing their infrastructure strategy to exceed our ever-changing technology needs. Her leadership and initiative continue to impress and she is now helping guide our Data Comm strategy across the entire SI-Legacy footprint. Through all channels and partners, Susan strives to give our customers the very best possible support. Susan resides in Northeast (LOL – NORTHWEST) Ohio. 

Isaiah is an Electrical Engineer from Purdue University (Indianapolis Campus), and has been in the Electrical and Telecommunications Industry for over 26 years. He covers the state of Indiana for SI-Legacy’s Data-Comm & A/V Division, and is focused on working with End Users to help get them where they want to be with their technology footprint. Whether it's for Networking Infrastructure, A/V, Access Control or Physical Security, Isaiah provides local support for the A&E’s, Consultants, Distributors, and Integrators throughout the state. In his free time, you can catch Isaiah at one of his daughter's sporting events, hanging out with his grandson or at the gym working out. Isaiah is also a very passionate Colts, Pacers and Boilermakers Fan. Boiler Up!

Paul manages North East Ohio & Western PA for SI-Legacy. He works closely with End Users, Contractors & Engineering Firms, leveraging the long term relationships he’s been able to build through consistency in the market. He truly works hand in hand with contractors & distributors to ensure delivery, pricing & product selection meets the end users (and consultants) expectations.

Russ has over 27 years in the communications business and has been with SI since its founding over 20 years ago. In addition to running everything behind the scene at SI, he is also the account manager for the NE Ohio market. He has successfully fostered partnerships with many of the manufacturers we currently represent. His relationships that span decades have made him the trusted resource that he is for anyone in that market — contractors, consultants and end users.

Jody joined the SI-Legacy team as the SW Account Manager serving the Security and AV fields. A graduate of Kent State University, Jody has over 20 years of Architecture and Construction experience coordinating building systems and technologies for hundreds of projects. His prior work history has provided immeasurable real world experience in both solution providing and project delivery. His passion for helping team members reach and exceed their goals, while providing exceptional customer service is an asset to his projects.

Jody is married with two children, who keep him engaged serving the community as a youth coach for each. His family can usually be found spending free time at one of the area sporting venues.

Matt graduated from Miami University in 2015 with a degree in Finance. He joins SI-Legacy with 3 years experience in the rep industry. Matt lives in Mentor and will be focused on Security and A/V in Northeast Ohio. He hopes to build relationships with his customers and better understand their businesses to help find solutions that will fit their needs. In his free time Matt enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Wally joined SI-Legacy in 2022 and brings over 17 years of AV experience to the team.  He has worked in sales, product management, operations, and technical/application support roles and holds a CTS certification from AVIXA.  His focus is on helping our customers find ways to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and deploying best-in-class products and solutions.

Wally lives with his wife (Jessica) and two teenage boys (CJ and Ethan) in the Dayton, Ohio area.  You can find him watching his boys run cross country and track, trying new varieties of beer, running, and spending time with his family.
